Aahan Mehta

Founder of Mathagonal Circle

Aahan Mehta is a high school STEM enthusiast and is extremely passionate about maths, physics, and coding.  This has led him to start an initiative to nurture love for math and problem solving in school students across India.  An initiative “For the Students, Of the Students, By the Students” and accessible to students of all capabilities.

He has a successful track record of international math competitions and finds joy in supporting others. He believes that education becomes more effective and enjoyable when it is based on the deep connections and friendship that forms while sharing a mutual goal. He aims to build a collaborative platform by creating an environment of freedom, creativity and fun to unleash the hidden joy of mathematics.

Through Mathagonal Circle, Aahan wishes to increase the participation of students in STEM fields by inspiring them to participate in various math competitions. “We get to love math when we can discover and understand it by ourselves. Then is when the beauty of math surprises us.” He enjoys working with younger students to increase their interest and success in math. He is a Global Math Project Ambassador.

When he isn’t thinking of math, he is often found strumming his guitar, coding or capturing moments through his camera lens. He plans to pursue a career in Computer Science and Higher Mathematics. A life-long learner, enthusiastic about the dissemination and teaching of mathematics at all levels.
